The South Bay United Water Polo 10U Co-ed team, coached by Mira Costa High’s Jon Reichardt, took home the gold medal in the Gold Division at the Junior Olympics in Orange County recently. The players, all from El Segundo, Hawthorne, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and Torrance, are Jack Guenther, Jack Burghardt, Maddox McEwen, Paxton Fastman, Julia Almendariz, Luca Zaric, Nolan Cary, Max Hale, Patrick Ashby, Jr., Brice Huxen, Thor Kowal, Logan Fastman, London Horn, Cyrus Amiri and Sammy Hendrickson. Reichardt and assistant Nick Dale are the coaches.
