Adam King notched a hat trick as the Redondo boys soccer team defeated South Torrance 3-1 on Tuesday in a nonleague game at Redondo High.
King scored an unassisted goal in the 30th minute, scored again just before halftime off a cutback feed from Brandon Cohen, and completed the hat trick by scoring off a long pass from Damien Sanchez in the second half. It was Redondo’s season opener.
