The 64th annual Redondo Dijon Thompson Pacific Shores Tournament, which boasts several elite teams, starts on Monday to kickoff the boys basketball season.
Monday’s matchups include CIF State Division 4 champion Crespi taking on Peninsula, host Redondo facing Mayfair and L.A. City Section power Westchester taking on Lynwood.
Here is Monday’s first-round schedule from the top of the bracket to the bottom:
Redondo vs. Mayfair, 6:30 p.m.
Oak Park vs. Rancho Christian, 3 p.m.
Compton vs. El Camino Real, 3:30 p.m.
Westchester vs. Lynwood, 4:30 p.m.
Long Beach Poly vs. Campbell Hall, 7:30 p.m.
Inglewood vs. Hart, 5 p.m.
Eastvale Roosevelt vs. Narbonne, 6 p.m.
Crespi vs. Peninsula, 8 p.m.
Quarterfinal and consolation games are Tuesday, then the tournament resumes after Thanksgiving, with semifinal games on Friday at 6:30 and 8 p.m. and the championship game on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
All games are played in Redondo’s main gym or small gym.
