The Redondo girls volleyball team defeated Los Alamitos in three straight sets in the semifinals of the Lakewood/Molten Volleyball Classic on Monday.
Redondo advance to the championship match today at 6:30 p.m., where it will play host Lakewood. Last year, Redondo beat Lakewood in four sets in the final.
Against Los Alamitos, Megan Rice had 10 kills and eight digs, Kyla Doig had eight kills, Norene Iosia had 16 assists and four aces and Katie Barkley added 10 digs.
Redondo (4-0) also had wins over West Torrance, St. Joseph’s and Esperanza in the tournament.
